Sanskrit is the mother of almost all Indian Languages. Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Shastras (Yoga, Kama, Dharma, & Artha), Sutas (Brahma Sutra, Yoga Sutra, Bhakti Sutra, etc.), Niti Shastras (Chanakya, Sukra, Vidura, etc.), Pancha Tantra, Hitopadesh, Katha Sarit Sagar, etc. are my favourites.
