Went through a Herman Hesse stage long ago. Presently, I enjoy modern day fiction: Elizabeth Berg, Barbara Kingsolver, Francine Prose, Nick Hornby, Carolyn Parkhurst, Jonathan Tropper...I'll read anything if it holds my interest. I like thought.
