- So far my favorite book is by Kristin Hanna. It is called The 4 Winds - set during the 1930s depression. I love how it is heart wrenching with each story. To be pulled into exactly what is in the characters mind and the tears flowing down their face, yet the resilience and courage to keep going through faces of difficulty is all so gut wrenching yet idyllic.
