Looking for my matching bookend Hello. My name is Nora. I am new to Austin and looking for someone I can share my life, and books, with. I am interested in having a serious relationship, preferably with a reader. I don't care what you read, but I have found that readers tend to have at least a little bit of intellectual curiosity, which is very attractive. I am interested in humans beings, what they do and why they do it and can't understand why other people have no interest in knowledge.

I read on a wide variety of subjects, including non-fiction, "literary" fiction, and historical fiction. I am a library person, it's one of my favorite places. I came to Texas to get my master's degree in library science. My bachelor's degree in is anthropology and history.

I have other interests. I love to hike, play board games, watch football, play with animals, dance and watch movies, especially documentaries. I love museums and historical sites.

I am pretty liberal and love a good intellectual discussion. I can have these types of discussions without getting angry or resorting to personal attacks. I tend to be an optimistic and I believe the best of people. This gets me in trouble sometimes because I expect them to be as empathetic as I am. Many times they aren't.
