I am a 55 year old woman, working part time with the elderly doing crafts and activities. I love reading and would be interested in discussing various books. I did a degree in English Literature as a mature student. I read a lot of 'chick lit' (although in my case that should be 'old hen lit') strangely not too much of that around. I sometimes feel I do not know which books to read and books often tend to 'find' me. I have just finished "Life of Pi" by Yann Martell which I enjoyed. It's weird but I am having difficulty thinking of more titles at the moment of books which I have enjoyed. I read biographies also and recently read Mica Paris's bio, very good! I am looking to chat with people about books, to compare notes on various books, to recommend titles and to generally share an interest.
