Noveltytoy, 33

Word. I've loved participating in book clubs in the past and look forward to finding an opportunity to do so again. One of the most invigorating activities for me is getting drawn into a book that I can't put down until I can convince myself I'm too tired/hungry/distracted to properly give it the attention it deserves. My most frustrating dilemma is finding a book (particularly self-help, psychology or philosophy) that leaves me teeming with comments and questions to explore and struggling to find someone to discuss it with! It may also bear mentioning that well-written fanfiction (or half-decent smut) is a guilty pleasure of mine, as well as lurking in forums with exceptionally witty members (unfortunately I almost always feel too shy and out of place to jump in the fray).
If that doesn't say enough about me (and it probably doesn't, a lot of it seems very embarrassingly generic ), I should provide a fairly concise summary of myself in a jumble of words with pleasant associations...

I take pleasure in feeling: erratic, messy, skinny, exuberant, befuddled, in awe of something spectacularly simple, and delighted by the wildly complex.

I take comfort in: consistency, order, repetition, cold air, warm cloth, a hot shower, the sound and feel of rainfall, the steady thrum of a content cat, and sleeping on the floor.

I'm attracted to: intelligence, savvy, deliberate word choice, sharp wit, enthusiasm, honesty, and all genders (especially of the queer variety).
