Marathon Reader My favorite store is always the book store, and I've never had a short trip to the library. I love books, I hoard books, and I love getting stuck in a book for 10-20 hours at a time.
Favorite authors include Dennis Miller, George Carlin, and - though this may sound odd - professional wrestlers. (What? They have great road stories to tell.)
I have two favorite books:
1) Frankenstein, because no matter how many times I read it, I can't decide which character I feel worse for - Victor or the monster. That book really messes with me.
2) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I love the whole series, but I'm drawn to OoTP the most because of all the anger with authority and with everybody in general. I'm not a fight-the-man kind of person nor am I a walking temper tantrum, but there are times when I can relate. And the tension in that particular installment (hello, Umbridge and Occlumency) is really heavy, which makes for a more dynamic read, at least for me.
