Speed read but have started appreciate books more I read a lot of books, mainly in the scifi/fantasy/humor or nonfiction ranges. I've been introduced to even more through the magic of tvtropes. My favourite books are ones with compelling characters and pseudo physics magical systems - for example my latest favourite book - the dark pprism by brent weeks, and my favourite author Brandon Sanderson
