I guess why I enjoy reading is because I get a big enough dose of reality each and every day I'm awake.. So, reading fantasy, horror, and sci-fi books is just my way to get away from everything. Plus, after watching dumbed-down TV shows and talking to people who act the same.. It's nice just to get to read something that's intellectually stimulating. My favorite author would have to be Stephen King. I've read almost every single book he's ever put out and I've read the entire Dark Tower series multiple times. My favorite book is hard to say, but perhaps the Coldfire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman or Otherland by Tad Williams. I'm huge into fantasy and dream of one day trying to write a novel of my own.
