Reading is one of my favourite hobbies. I love to read because it takes me away and creates a movie in my mind. I learn new things and read a large variety of books and current event magazines.
My favourite book is Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevski. I seem to be drawn to Russian authors. Anna Karenina is very good. I like Lisa See especially "Snowflower and the Secret Fan", a very disturbing novel but well worth reading. My favourite short story is "The Overcoat" by Nicolai Gogol, a great story if I ever have to be motivated to count my blessings.
