kite runner sucks the last books i read from the order of most recent to least: the sun also rises, heart of darkness, invisible bridge, young hearts crying, revolutionary road (can't remember further than that. here's some of my fav's: blood meridian, no country, the road, nine stories, catcher in the rye (the business), short happy life of francis mccomber, the long valley, barking man, zero db, waiting for the end of the world, how to breath under water, (can't remember any titles, but I've read and loved almost everything by alice munroe), the children's crusade (wink), mother night, deadeye d---, all the king's men, swan's way, remembrance of things past, Ulysses (just the narcissa chapter really), the devil you know, infinite jest, mosquitoes, the sound and the fury, absolom absolom, go down moses, another country, sunny's blues. that's all I can think of right now. the first book I ever actually read was 'crime and punishment' when I was eighteen and I've been a big fan of the whole reading thing ever since. when I was in my early twenties, I started reading all day long until my eyes got so sore I'd get a migraine after about eight or nine hours, so I got reading glasses, and then I started reading for twelve to thirteen hours a day, which started giving me panic attacks. I had to take it down a few notches. Now, I only read for two to four hours a day, usually.
